It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples/ acne. Taking care of acne-prone skin is a difficult task. but you can control this acne by using the simple homemade face mask with natural ingredients that present your home.

Best Homemade Face Mask for Acne-Prone Skin

1. Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti) And Rose Water Face Masks

 
Fuller’s earth has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps to absorb oil and other impurities, This keeps the skin clean and acne-free. Rosewater has a calming effect on the skin.

  • 1 tablespoon of Multani mitti
  • 1 tablespoon of rose water (adjust the quantity according to your need)

Method

  • Mix the Multani mitti and rose water in a bowl.
  • Adjust the consistency and apply it all over your face.
  • Wait until it dries and then wash off.
  • Repeat twice a week.

2. Gram Flour (Besan) And Neem Face Masks

Gram flour has certain properties that treat acne and Exfoliates Dead Skin. it contains zinc that fights the infections that cause your face to erupt with acne.

Neem helps reduce acne or pimples caused by bacteria and congested skin. it is enriched with antioxidants and is anti-inflammatory, which makes your skin healthy and flawless without much effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of gram flour
  • 1 tbsp of neem powder

 Method

 
  • Mix the gram flour with neem powder in a bowl.
  • Once you get a smooth paste, apply it all over your face.
  • Let it dry and then wash it off.
  • Repeat once a day until the pimples are gone.

3. Honey And Lemon Face Mask

 
Raw honey helps balance the bacteria on your skin. It has anti-acne properties which makes it a great product to use for acne. Lemon juice naturally contains vitamin C, an antioxidant that may help reduce skin damage and it also filled with AHA’s and BHA’s which remove dead skin cells and help clear up blackheads, acne.

  • 1 tbsp of  raw honey
  • ½ teaspoon of diluted lemon juice

Method

  • Mix the honey and lemon juice in a bowl to make a paste.
  • Apply the paste all over your face or just the problem areas.
  • Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off.
  • Repeat this 3 times a week.
Caution: If you suffer from cystic acne or active acne I suggest don’t use lemon on your face

 

4.  Turmeric And Aloe Vera Face Mask

 

Aloe vera helps in moisturising and rejuvenates the skin. It has antimicrobial properties, making it ideal to treat acne and pimples. Turmeric helps to reduce acne or any scars. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can target your pores and calm the skin.

  • 1 tbsp of  aloe vera gel
  • 2 to 3 pinches  of turmeric powder

Method

  • Take aloe vera gel and add two to three pinches of turmeric powder in a bowl.
  • Apply the face pack and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash it off and pat your skin dry.
  • Repeat 2-3 times a week.

5. Oatmeal And Honey Face Masks

 
Oatmeal has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. It also absorbs excess oil and helps to treat acne. Honey helps balance the bacteria on your skin. It has anti-acne properties that help to treat acne and spot.

  • 2-3 drops of tea tree oil
  • 1 to 2 tbsp of water or rose water (for making a face mask)

  • Mix the clay and water/ raw milk/rosewater in a bowl. Adjust the consistency as per your convenience.
  • Add the tea tree oil to the paste and mix well.
  • Apply the paste on your face, let it dry.
  • Wash it off.
  • Repeat 2-3 times a week.
